Shifting Grounds

Handcrafted from 100% wool, Shifting Grounds is a bold, immersive piece that rewards a long look. An explosion of abstract patchwork forms- cobalt blue, crimson red, olive gold, burnt rust, cream and black- collide and interlock across the surface like an aerial view of somewhere imagined. Sweeping curves, grid-like divisions and layered organic shapes are hand-shaved for hours to create striking definition and depth between each section.

Equal parts sculptural and functional.
